A popular herbalist, Baimba Moi Foray (accused) alias L A Chocolate and Arvin Oreh Renner were on Friday July 3rd 2015 denied bail when they made their first appearance before Magistrate Komba Kamanda of court No. 1.
According to the prosecution lawyers, Nasser M. Bittar, Nigel Brian, Eugene Davies and Martina B. Gbenda ESQ., the two accused were facing two counts of conspiracy to commit murder and murder contrary to the laws of Sierra Leone.
They further alleged in count one that, the accused persons at No.1 Johnson Street, Off Aberdeen, west of Freetown, on diverse dates between April 15th and May 25th 2015, connived with other persons unknown to commit a felony to wit murdered one Sydney David Buckle aka DJ Cleff, the Public Relations Officer of Artists for Peace.
On count two, they were accused of involving in the death of D J Cleff on the same date and venue.
Lawyers Oladipo Robin Mason (Snr) and (Jnr) and Alhaji Mohamed Kamara were representing the accused persons.
The prosecution however requested for one week adjournment to enable them inform their witnesses to give their evidence.
The matter was adjourned to July 9 this year and the accused were relocated to the male and female correctional centres.
