“SLPP SHOULD GROW-UP” *Says Kamarainba

By Abdulrahman Koroma

Like Joe Biden referred to the President-Elect of United States (Donald Trump), the Chairman and Leader of Alliance Democratic Party (ADP), Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray has called on the Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP) to grow up or stop being a political party.

Kamarainba made this statement on Monday 9th January 2017 while addressing issues of the day on a local television in Freetown.

He said the SLPP has not been offering the people of Sierra Leone a better alternative since “the ruling government has not been meeting the needs of the people in the country.”

Kamarainba stated that the SLPP should not be shifting blame of the people’s suffering on the ruling All People Congress rather they themselves should be blamed for every suffering the people are facing.

“The SLPP have 42 members in parliament who are part of decision making in the country and they have been around to see the passing of all the bills and approval of government officials who are been appointed by the president of Sierra Leone,” he said.

He pointed out that President Koroma led government has failed the nation and that the president has not been handling the trust bestowed on him by the people with care.

He called on the people of Sierra Leone to reject the two old political parties in the country, adding that they have over stayed their welcome and therefore must be ignored by the people.
