Ministers Clash Openly In Office “Eyes Of Salone”- Prime Times

The Ministry of Social Welfare, Gender and Children’s Affairs at New England Ville was a scene of chaos and pandemonium yesterday when the Minister, Alhaji Moijueh Kaikai and his Deputy, Mustapha Bai Atilla traded unprintable insults.

The Deputy Minister accused the Minister of abusing his mother and marginalizing him in the running of the Ministry.

The Minister is also severally accused of being in the perpetual habit of harassing all the married women working in his Ministry.

Mustapha Bai Atilla also accused Moijueh Kaikai of sexually harassing some female staff members of the Ministry and refusing to recognize him as an appointee of the President. He also accused Moijueh Kaikai of being a tribalist and a serial womanizer.

Moijueh Kaikai retorted by referring to his deputy as a back bitter and a senseless womanizer.
All efforts to calm down the situation proved unsuccessful. The Permanent Secretary, Momoh Foh had to flee the scene of chaos after his efforts to calm down the tension proved unsuccessful.

A State House confirmed that a letter of complaint against Minister Moijueh Kaikai by a senior female Police Officer was in the possession of the President.

Sources say that, in almost all the Ministries, the Deputy Ministers are almost always up in arms with their Ministers.

Feremusu Konte does not speak with her boss in the Ministry of Youth Affairs. The same goes for the Ministries of Transport and Aviation, Internal Affairs, Sports Affairs, etc.

May be, the anticipated Cabinet reshuffle will put to rest this issue of infighting in several Ministries.
