Managing Director of Mercury International, Martin Michael stated that it is extremely important to render such gesture to Educaid Sierra Leone because Educaid is a key pillar to education in the country, adding that they will always be of help in whatever they can to boost the educational system of the country.

Martin further stated that they are impressed with the work of Educaid wherein with little resources they can offer education and accommodation for over 2000 boys and girls in the country who may have not acquired proper education without the help of Educaid.

“One of the most fascinate things we have seen today is to see students exhibiting determination to be the next leaders of Sierra Leone even though they are acquiring  education in a not too proper condition,” he stated.

In her statement the Director of Educaid Sierra Leone Marian Masson Sesay, stated that she is extremely happy to receive such support from Mercury International Charitable Foundation because without such help many children would have left behind in achieving their God given potentials.

“This takes 60 young stars to degree level of education with the partnership with University of Makeni (UNIMAK) and that is not a small thing to have done, we appreciate it greatly” she noted.
