As the World Governing Body FIFA suspends all funding to the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), sources closed to the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) of Sierra Leone have intimidated SALONE TIMES that the two main suspects of the ongoing investigation are playing “hide and sick.”
SALONE TIMES authoritative source said that Isha Johansen and Chris Kamara has deferred the interview 8 times for reason that has to do with medical and absence of their lawyers.
“Even yesterday 22 November 2016, the President of SLFA, Isha Johansen promised to continue her interview, having deferred it the day before yesterday on health reasons but only sent her asset declaration fund with another excuse,” SALONE TIMES source revealed.
Speaking to the ACC Commissioner Ady Macaulay in an interview to confirm the story, he only said that they hope that they will complete the investigation soon.
He mentioned that he will not comment on the investigation but that he wants the public to exercise patient as the investigation will complete soon
“I am happy that FIFA Secretary General has finally said that we have jurisdiction to investigate the FA,” Commissioner Macualay said.
Meanwhile the FIFA Secretary General Fatma Samoura has said in a visit to Sierra Leone last Friday that FIFA will stop their usual funding of 1.5 Million Dollars to the Sierra Leone FA until after the investigation.
