IGR’s ANDREW LAVALI ACCUSED OF TRIBALISM

The elected Secretary General of West African Civil Society Forum (WACSOF) Sierra Leone, Morlai Khanu Conteh, has accused Andrew Lavali of the Institute of Governance Reforms, but doubles as President of WACSOF of tribalism, nepotism and cronyism.

Morlai accused Lavalie to have unconstitutionally and dictatorial deposed him as WACSOF Secretary General, replacing him with his tribesman Moses Mambu.

He said Lavalie does not have the constitutional power to depose or appoint anyone.

That as the elected Secretary General, he considers Lavali’s holding of a meeting on Violence in Sierra Leone on 23rd August, at the Miatta Conference Center as going against the spirits and values of WACSOF.

He further explained that the meeting was a complete waste of resources and of course a clear display of misplaced priorities.

“Lavalie and other misguided persons are merely promoting their diabolic agenda, which no doubt is against the spirit of WACSOF,” Morlai said.

“I therefore called on all government and non-governmental institutions to stop working with Lavalie and team of cronies.”
When contacted by this press, Lavalie only said “I could not talk now.”
