Class reunions can be very fun but they can also get quite messy if you do the wrong things. It’s quite exciting to go to a party where you will see all your friends from college but also your rivals. Remember when you got a B and someone else got an A although your paper was better? Well, get over it, you are not in college anymore. Celebrate with your friends and don’t do anything stupid. We will teach you how.
You can arrive a day early to meet with some special friends to catch up. This will allow you to talk to other people during the reunion instead of being hung up on a couple of good friends. Besides, you will have so much fun if you go out just with the old gang.
Wear something attractive but not very loud. You don’t need designer labels unless you want to show off in front of your former colleagues. Always match your outfit to the occasion. If the reunion is a brunch don’t wear a tight long evening dress just to look sexy. The opposite will happen: you will look foolish.
Think about some possible questions that you may be asked by those with whom you haven’t been in touch. How have you been doing, where do you work, are you married, how are your kids etc. You will inevitably have to answer these questions if we’re talking about a 20-year class reunion.
Don’t try to impress anyone. Be your true self or other people will see right through your falseness. There is no point in losing weight especially for this reunion. Such decisions should be made based on intrinsic motivation not on the desire to impress your classmates.
But, if you really must impress them, one of the best way to do it is to become filthy rich. How do you do that? It’s easy. You play the lottery and win the big jackpot. You can buy a ticket at euromillions-lotteries.com and hope you will be the next winner in line. Choose some numbers that are relevant to you or just use a number generator for a truly random pick.
It’s ok if you don’t want to bring your spouse at the reunion especially if he/she doesn’t know what kind of person you were back then. Besides, you will speak and act more freely around your classmates without having to worry about what your spouse may think of you. Also, don’t bring your partner just to show others you are married to a beautiful and successful man/woman.
Don’t remind everyone about the most embarrassing moments throughout college. They have probably forgotten many of them and there is no point in going through it again. And last, one more important thing to remember: don’t drink a lot of alcohol. There is nothing more embarrassing than getting awfully drunk in front of your classmates and making a scene. You are not in college anymore. You are a grown up or at least that’s what you want them to think.
