Leader and Chairman Alliance Democratic Party (ADP) Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray has referred to Sierra Leone’s Deputy Minister of Information and Communications, Cornelous Deveaux as a “celebrated clown. “
Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray made this statement in response to avowal against his person by Corneleus Deveaux at the usual Information Ministry press conference held past Thursday at the Ministry’s Conference Room Youyi Building, Freetown.
“Only a president like Ernest Bai Koroma will appoint clown such as Deveaux as a state minister,” adding nonetheless “that Deveaux being country’s Deputy Minister of Information should keep quiet and allow better heads to speak.”
He noted that Deveaux isn’t qualified for the work and that he is doing all he could to have him kept in the position anyhow.
That people like Deveaux are but lucky to be appointed Deputy Minister by President Koroma.
“The man does not merit such a position at all. Go write it and tell him I said so,” Kamarainba said.
“The president could have appointed better heads to such an enviable position than bunch of sycophants and praise singers.”
In response to claims made by the Deveaux that ADP Kamarainba has said that he runs his party as a “one show,”
Kamarainba self-righteously stated that his party (The ADP) has structures far better than the ruling APC party.
Furthered: “I am being this articulate because I don’t want to be seen as a ‘mumu’ dumb leader the likes of President Koroma.”
He condemned the very existence of a presidential spokesman in the office of the President, adding that it is no doubt a waste of money.
He also mentioned government’s reaction to the “killing” of the late Army Chief, Samuel Omar Williams as being very phlegmatic.
“The late Army Chief was himself more significance than money, not to even say 10,000,000 US Dollars,” he said.
Kamarainba has therefore offered a whooping Le 100,000,000 for any person positioning the whereabouts of those involved in the killing of the late Army Chief.
