Elements of main opposition All People’s Congress (APC) attempt to blackmail vice president Juldeh Jalloh in the fake diamond saga has backfired.
Contrary to fake news, a trustworthy and reliable source has explained to NEW AGE that the so-called diamond was taken to the National Mineral Agency (NMA) past Monday.
That it was after NMA officials had examined the alleged diamond and confirmed it was no more than a stone that same was taken to office of the VP for onward handing over to the owners.
It was merely a day (Sunday) to NMA’s confirmation of the alleged diamond, that VP Juldeh unceremoniously received nameless calls from those who had found the fake diamond who claimed the police wanted to arrest and take their diamond from them.
“Had it not been for the VP, those who found the fake diamond would have longed been arrested,” an eyewitness account revealed.
It is a fact unconcealed that one Ezekiel Kabba Sumana and four other artisan miners reportedly discovered a diamond in Hermakono in the Nimikoro Chiefdom, which eventually has been declared stone.
